“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their efforts. For if either falls, his companion can lift him up.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 |

This past weekend was a reminder of what makes this community so special. First, congratulations to all of our Quarterfinals athletes on the successful completion of all four workouts. You showed grit, resilience, and composure under pressure. But beyond the performances themselves, what stood out most was the way our community showed up for one another. Coach Jo shared that the environment over the weekend brought the verse above to mind from Ecclesiastes. The friendships, the encouragement, the accountability, the way people stepped in to lift each other up when the work got hard; that is what made the weekend so meaningful. Yes, the workouts mattered. But the way we did them together mattered even more. That same spirit carried right into the Open House we had at Cornerstone. Thank you so much to everyone who came out for fitness, food, and fun. One coach said the energy in the gym felt surreal. Multiple people shared how excited they were to see so many familiar and new faces in the room. Personally, I was overjoyed watching Cornerstone and CrossFit Fairfield athletes paired together in the 9:00am partner workout led by Coach Brandon. It felt like a picture of who we are becoming together. And we are not slowing down. We want to keep that energy turned up, keep building momentum, and keep creating more opportunities for people to train, grow, compete, and belong. Here’s a look at what’s coming up around Community Fitness Lab. Thank you for being part of this. Thank you for showing up for workouts, for events, for conversations, for each other. Thank you for making these gyms more than places to train. The momentum is real right now, and I believe we are only scratching the surface of what can be built through this community. Let’s keep it going. |
