Community Fitness Lab is Expanding

Re-post from a newsletter published February 3, 2026 Hey CrossFit Fairfield family,

I wanted you to hear this directly from us.

As part of the Community Fitness Lab vision we’ve already shared with you, I’m excited to let you know that we’re officially stepping into ownership and leadership of a second location: Cornerstone Fitness in West Chester.

Before anything else, I want to be clear about why this matters — and it starts with you and our coaches.

What makes CrossFit Fairfield special isn’t the workouts or the equipment. It’s the people on the floor every day who workout and who coach with care, consistency, and real investment in themselves and each other. Stepping into ownership of Cornerstone Fitness allows us to better support members and coaches across both locations — creating a stronger community, and environments where great coaches and members can continue thriving for a long time.

This new location is being stewarded under the Community Fitness Lab alongside some partners who you all know share the same heart for people and community — Mark and Michelle Tiderman and Coach Mike Halpin. Mark and Michelle and Mike are great partners who believe deeply in coach-led culture, long-term thinking, and serving communities well, not just growing for growth’s sake. And, they've supported Julianne and me and this community from day one.

For you, the most important thing to know is this:

Nothing about your day-to-day experience at CrossFit Fairfield is changing.Same coaches. Same culture. Same commitment to you.

What does change is our capacity to:

  • Invest more deeply in our coaching team

  • Extend the standard of excellence and care that you experience here to the Cornerstone Fitness community in West Chester

  • Build something more durable and thoughtfully led for the long term

Community Fitness Lab has always been about responsibility — protecting what works, serving people well, and thinking beyond the next season. This step is simply part of that longer arc.

I’m incredibly grateful for the trust you place in us, because every decision we make is filtered through one question:

Does this help us serve our people — members and coaches alike — better today and for years to come?

The answer to that question in this case was a resounding YES!Thank you for being part of this community. It's been such an amazing ride and we're barely getting started.I'm sure you all have lots of questions! Stand by for more information coming soon! Until then...
